    Hello:)

    I’m using the Swell theme and I need help with removing the featured images from the blogroll. In other words, when I go to the blog page, I would only like to see text-no images. However, I would like for the featured image to be displayed on the individual posts pages.

    I looked in the settings and the customization area to see if there was an option to display the featured image in certain areas of the site, but I don’t see any option to do that. I also searched the forum but have yet to find a resolution. Is there any way to remove the images from the blogroll without removing it from the individual posts?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

    This custom CSS should remove them:

    .blog #posts-scroll .featured-image {
    display: none !important;
    }

    When I look at your blog here: https://instrumentofpraize.net/blog-2/ I am not seeing any featured images.

    After the css didn’t work, I used the add more tag. However, there is an image that shows up from a post I did on April 5 that’s still showing.

    That’s actually not a featured image, but rather an image in the content of that post. You can use the manual excerpt field to enter the text you want for your excerpt for that post, or try this custom CSS:

    .blog #posts-scroll img {
    display: none !important;
    }
