Logo on homepage – resize?

Hi – I really love this theme. The only issue I have is that I’d like to add a graphic to the home page – not my full logo but just part of it. Whenever I upload it, it looks huge and oddly positioned on the home page. I tried shrinking the size, but that just makes it pixelate while taking up the same amount of space.
It’s not crucial, but if I could have it on there it would be cool. Just a small graphic above “Your Stories Ink”

If you want to add an image above the logo, some custom work might be required. If you can upload the image again, send me a message so I can see how it looks like and how could we make it smaller.
