Image displayed on child pages
-
Dear all,
We use grid page to display our team (https://ledergerber-partner.ch/ueber-uns). So if you see a child page of a person (e.g. https://ledergerber-partner.ch/ueber-uns/roman-pfund), the main image (portrait) just display the middle of the face. That looks horrible.
How to display on this child pages the face appropriately, good looking?
Thanks in advance for your very appreciated help.
Kind regards,

Hi Raphael,
The Featured Image located in the page header section is used as a background image. This background image is centered by default. Also, the browser automatically scales the image as large as possible and maintains image aspect ratio so the image does not get squished.
One way to resolve this issue is to increase the height of the page header for these child pages:
.parent-pageid-58 .page-header { padding-top: 200px; padding-bottom: 200px; }
Alternatively, we can hide a page header background image for these child pages using this custom CSS:
.parent-pageid-58 .page-header .th-featured-image { display: none; }
Let me know if you have any additional questions.
Thank you,
