I just started with Entrepreneur today – I have a legacy homepage from a previously used design template and it is still appearing as the homepage (some tweaks to layout but broadly the same).
How do I reset so that I get the homepage that is in your template? Do I need to start again and if so where is the template or feature that I need to activate?
The blog I need help with is nualamaher.com.
Please make your blog hidden from private privacy. For now, I can suggest going to Customize > Homepage Settings > Select ‘ A static page’ and from the dropdown select the homepage.
Let me know if it worked or not.
I am sorted with that problem, but now need to add the ‘call to action’ to the homepage. I copied the code and updated with my target url and desired text – what next??
I have put the site into public so you can see the current setup.
Use HTML code like this:
<a class="call-to-action" href="https://wordpress.com/theme/entrepreneur/support/">Get Started</a>
Thanks – I’m a real newby at this so don’t know where to position this code within the design – can you give me some pointers, does the template not have a built in wizard where this can be done?
Please see this screenshot: https://cloudup.com/ccOSwWJoCq3, the HTML codes need to be in the homepage content area.
Thank you – that worked!
