Control Order of Slideshow

Hello!

I’d like to have our “Welcome” post show up as the first slide when looking at the front page. Is there a way to keep it first after adding new posts to the page/slideshow? I guess a simpler way to put it is: How can I control the order of the slideshow (besides deleting and re-posting to keep “Welcome” as the most recent post)?

Hi there!

You don’t need to delete your Welcome post every time, but you will need to update the Publish Date so that it is newer than the other sticky posts. This is similar to Scheduling a Post, except you aren’t setting the date to a time in the future.

There’s no way in WordPress to automate the changing of the publish date. Sorry :(
