Clickable Logo to Left of Primary Menu
-
Good afternoon.
I want the placement of the logo to be left of the primary menu. Beside it, not above. I’ve tried the following code from a previous support forum answer and it works (yay!). Is it possible to have the logo clickable so it returns users to the home page?
.main-navigation #primary-menu::before {
content: “”;
background-image: url();
background-repeat: no-repeat;
background-size: 300px 67px;
width: 300px;
height: 67px;
display: inline-block;
float: left;
}Thank you for your assistance.

Hello Tammy,
By default, WordPress does not allow to display a logo inside the menu section. Also, it’s not possible to move it to the left of the primary menu due to the structure of the header section.
However, we can use a custom CSS to change an appearance of the first menu item in the primary. Basically, we can replace it with an image/logo:
.main-navigation .container > ul:first-of-type > li:first-of-type > a { background-image: url(add your image URL); background-position: center; font-size: 0px; background-size: 200px 60px; width: 200px; height: 60px; display: block; }
Please replace “add your image URL” with the actual URL of your logo. Also, I am using 200x60px as a size for the logo. You can modify it to fit your needs.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Kind regards,
Taras
