Change Colour of First Post Text

Hi there

Is it possible to change the text colour of the ‘first post’ on the homepage?

Set as black as default but I wish it to be white.

If I change this colour, will the text in that actual post? As this I need to be black.

Hi Greg,

Yes, you can change the background color of the first post on the homepage by adding the following CSS in Custom CSS https://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-css/.
```
.first-post .hentry {
    background-color: #000;
}

.first-post .entry-meta {
    background-color: #333;
}
```

Hi, it is not the background colour of the first post I need to change, it is the text colour.

ok, then you can add the following CSS instead.
```
.first-post .entry-title a, 
.first-post .entry-summary, 
.first-post .entry-summary a {
    color: #fff;
}
```
