Categories added to widget, not menu

  Hi, Ana-

  I’d like folks to be able to click on my own categories under the “Categories” widget on my right sidebar. However, it only allows me to add pages not categories. I know I can add my categories to the menu on top, but they look terrible up there. Is there a way to add actual categories to the categories section?

  Just let me know if you need more detail or if this doesn’t make sense.

  You can add it to the right sidebar.

  I had to delete the one that came with the theme and add it again in order to be able to show my own categories. But it worked like a charm. THANK YOU!
