    Hi

    Please help!

    I am trying to embed 3 youtube videos on my http://afrodancecreativearts.com/2014/10/07/3-day-exa-ghana-2014/ ‎ post.

    I want to layout the image on the left side of the post and the videos on the right side of the post. I have already divided up the post using <div></div> tags. But I have 2 problems.

    1) I have tried to embed one videos, which you can see on the post, by using the following code:

    <div class=”nine columns” style=”padding-left: 10;”><span class=”embed-youtube”>[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6hMTiIFRkxQ?rel=0&w=300&h=169%5D</span></div&gt;

    But it is not displaying it in that size and I have changed the width and height to test if it is actually resizing but it is not changing.

    (please note: I have noticed that when I viewed the code using the “View Code on the html page” I noticed that there were additional coding around the youtube section of the coding which is not displaying on the “Text” editor of my post. Is this additional coding is what the problem is or am I doing something wrong?

    2) The video is displaying underneath the left side of the page and not on the right side. The left side of the post is coded as:

    <div class=”row”>
    <div class=”eight columns”>EXA Ghana workshop post images</div>
    <!– .eight columns –>
    —-
    </div>

    Thankyou!!!

    I noticed that back in 2013 someone else had similar problem with resizing the embeded videos and there was a suggestion that it would be looked at. Has this been resolved?

    Hello,

    The issue in the post you linked to has been resolved in the theme and is not what is causing the issue. The problem is the nine columns are too large to fit both the padding and the video so it is pushing them bellow. Try adding a seven column instead of the nine and it should display your videos smaller on the right of your images.

    Thanks,

    Rebecca
