would like my gallery as thumbnails with sub galleries

is the any way i can have a thumbnail gallery so each thumbnail image when clicked opens a sub gallery of 5 or 6 images ? or do i need to add a plug in for this? thanks in adavance for any help

That should be how Photography works by default. But maybe I’m misunderstanding what you’re after. Would you like a gallery like this? That opens to a slideshow like this?

Hi Scott thanks, yes pretty much that, i’m showcasing my sculpture work, Id like to post like that so when someone selects gallery from the header menu they get a feature photo of each piece, then click the piece they want to see more of and enter a slideshow/sub-gallery of 5 or 6 different photos of the piece. If you look at the way my gallery page looks at the moment it doesnt work this way. I’m a total novice to site building so perhaps its just a setting thing or the way I’m posting. Any help would be much appreciated

I suggest you start off by switching over to your original Dashboard by clicking this link. Then, follow along with this guide particularly the parts about ‘Creating a gallery page’ and ‘Creating individual galleries’.

haha! its ok, i found the other menu.. but its actually not the default setting, i needed to select the gallery setting. Thanks for the replies anyway….I’m learning :D
