Wording below photo

    I’m trying to figure out how to hide the wording below the photos in the blog page. I prefer that the viewer clicks on the photo in order to begin reading instead of the excerpt content below the photo.

    Can someone help me solve this?

    The blog I need help with is keto-cooking.com.

    Hi there – thanks for the message. I am afraid I am not entirely sure what you want to do? Also since your site is private then I can’t see what you have done so far.

    If you can unlock your site (temporarily whilst we fix this) then I am hope I will be able to help.

    In regards the problem – I have tested the site and the posts listed on the blog archive (for example this page on the theme demo – https://exhibitdemo.wordpress.com/blog/) have clickable images. Is this what you are referring to?

    I am going to publicize my website for you to see. Click on “keto recipes” at the top menu and then you will see pictures of food. I want to hide the wording underneath those pictures (ingredients and the like). Also, if there is a quick way to delete the calendar, that would be beneficial as well.

    Hi Sarah – that makes sense now. Thanks for clarifying.

    To hide all the text and only display the thumbnail image you would use:

    .main .post-archive article h2.entry-title,
    .main .post-archive article .post-meta-data,
    .main .post-archive article p {
        display: none;

    Thank you! Where do I paste that in?

    Sorry – should have said. This is CSS and goes in the CSS panel in the customizer. There’s more info on this here:

    Great, it worked! Thanks again, you were very helpful!
