Width of internal pages

    Hi there,

    Is it possible for content on the pages of this theme to occupy a wider space than as standard?

    For example on this page:
    https://alanrogersillustrator.wordpress.com/2015/02/19/reading-scheme/

    The header image runs full width of the page, but all content is contained within a central column? It’d be great if this content could use more of the available space, i.e. run across the righthand column too.

    Didn’t know if that’s something we could specify somewhere in the CSS?

    Thanks.

    The blog I need help with is alanrogersillustrator.wordpress.com.

    Hi.

    You can use the following css code to increase the main content area width:

    @media only screen and ( min-width: 1100px ) {
         #main-content { width: 720px; }
    }

    Note: you would need to increase min-width value ( 1100px ), If you decide to increase #main-content width. So if you change #main-content width to 820px, min-width value should be equal to 1200px

    Great thanks – have implemented this well.

    Final question (I promise!). Is it possible to hide the link to ‘View image full size’ that appears next to images in the gallery at all?

    Thanks again – fantastic support.

    Hi. I don’t see the link anywhere on the page. Were you able to hide it?

    Yes! Just found the CSS online via a search, thanks for looking. Is there any CSS to disable right clicking on an image to save it or similar?

    I’m afraid it’s not possible to do it using CSS.
