    I only want one post to show up on the Front page below the featured sliders, and I marked it as Sticky. But the Featured sliders have to be posts right? If I don’t want any more Posts showing up on the Front page, I think I have to make them Pages, is that correct?

    If so, here’s my problem. The 5 posts featured in the slider look like this:
    http://flaxgoldentales.com/2014/08/16/a-bedtime-for-bear/

    But when I set up similar content in Pages, it looks like this: http://flaxgoldentales.com/an-ants-day-off/

    The “Posts” have a rule under the title and the “Pages” do not. How can I add a rule in the Pages?

    Also, I have removed the Meta and Archives widgets but they are still showing up on any new Pages I add. how can I remove them?

    The blog I need help with is flaxgoldentales.com.

    Hi, I figured out the rules, but I can use your help with the Meta and Archive widget question. Thanks.

    Hello Bonny,

    Thanks for asking,

    You can remove meta and archives permanently from sidebar by following below steps:

    Go to Dashboard->Appearance->Widgets

    and under the Primary Widget Area remove desired things like Meta, Archives etc. and Add a Text Area left blank then save it.

    Now, whenever you will add new page you will find blank sidebar.

    as far as your other issue is concern, It’s a 404 page not found error, kindly, assign your links properly.

    That doesn’t seem intuitive at all, but I guess I got it to work.

    So a follow up question about getting the right widgets to appear on individual pages. I understand the “Show” and “Hide” visibility and had to add Tags so that I could indicate which ones to hide.

    Except now the Tags are showing under the posts. See “bio” and “awards” under these two posts:

    I thought I hid the tags in the css but I guess not. How can I hide all tags for any new posts?

    Can you tell me how to hide ALL TAGS on this site for posts? I tried the following css but it didn’t work:

    .entry-meta .entry-tag {
    display: none;
    }

    .content-bar .post ul.post_meta li.post_tag {
    display: none;
    }

    Hello Boony,

    I regret to say that, it is not possible to remove such tags only by applying custom CSS,

    You need to edit some PHP functions to get desired results but, this is quite complex one.
