  Is it possible to add a widget to a page….not in the side bar or footer?

  If so would it be through CSS and how?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  There isn’t a way to add a widget to a page without adding it to one of the widget areas. Caldwell has two widget areas; Sidebar and Footer.

  Ok! Is it possible to increase the size of images used for the gallery widget? my gallery widget in my sidebar here is very small: http://energetichealthinstitute.org/scholarship-application/

  It looks like you’re using the WP.com Gallery Widget. If that widget has images size settings, you should be able to make them bigger. The theme doesn’t do anything special for that widget.
