Wide-content doesn't work
-
Hi there,
When I add the <div class=”wide-content”> command to my html on my posts it doesn’t change anything? My image remains stuck in the same size :(
Thanks

Hi there,
can you link me to the page/post you including the wide-content div, so that I can see the code?
Thanks so much!
Best, Ellen -
Hi Ellen,
Here’s the link. The first picture should be wide but it doesn’t seem to have changed!
Cheers,

Hi Jennie,
could you try to include the following code inside the wide-content div area:
<img class="alignleft wp-image-37 size-full" src="https://jenilim.files.wordpress.com/2015/02/img_3679.jpg" alt="IMG_3679" src-orig="https://jenilim.files.wordpress.com/2015/02/img_3679.jpg" scale="2">

Hi Ellen,
Sorry just saw your reply. I’ve placed it in my post, but it doesn’t seem to have changed anything. What’s even weirder, after I’ve placed the code inside the wide-content div area, saved and updated it, once I refresh the page the code disappears!
Any idea why I just can’t seem to use this wide-content command? :/

Hi Jennie,
I’m so sorry for my late reply to your latest question here in the thread. I’m also not 100% sure, why it won’t work. The only thing I can think of, is that you should make sure to include the code, while working in the “Text Editor” mode and not the “Visual” editor (see switch at the top right corner of your editor).
Please let me know, if this is solving the issue.

Hello Ellen,
I’ve made sure it’s in Text Editor, as if it were in visual the code would clearly appear alongside my content. Still doesn’t work though :/
Any idea why?
Regards,

Hi Jennie,
that is very strange, could you maybe upload (via your media library) and send me a screenshot URL of the code in the texteditor? This way I hope I can find the bug.
Best, Ellen
