Why is The "Author" Slab Where it is?
-
Greetings, Taras!
I enabled the author display in single posts recently, and noticed that the author slab shows much below the actual post, below the share buttons AND below the “Recent posts” section. Is this not a little too far down in the page? Especially in mobile view, when the “Recent posts” is vertically displayed, this goes down even further. Should the “Author” slab not be much nearer to the actual post’s end?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello,
By default, the author section is located right after the content area in the template which is used by WordPress for singular posts views. You can see it in action here.
The thing is that Jetpack/WordPress.com core uses special WordPress filters to display share buttons and the “Recent posts” section after the content text by modifying an output of the content function.
I completely agree with you that the author section should be located at least before the “Recent posts”. I am going to further investigate this problem and release a better solution in the future version of the theme.
Thank you for bringing this problem to my attention.
Kind regards,

Ah, that makes sense, and it would be wonderful of you to consider. Thank you, as always, for being awesome, Taras!
