  • HI, I have posted a few pieces of news and article onto my website. all seems fine except for one news that i have posted, there seems to be a problem with the image size.

Its getting cut from all size when appearing in thumb nails at home page and also in Slider .

but once we click on the link, and news opens, it shows just fine.

    Please help.

  • Hi there – thanks for the message.

The theme is designed to crop the images, this will always happen unfortunately. The images need a certain image ratio to work as thumbnails and you will need to keep this in mind when selecting a thumbnail image.

For this image, I would consider either swapping the thumbnail to a landscape photo like you use elsewhere (you can still use the logo on the blog post), or adjusting the images so that it fits the shape better.

To do this you would need to add some extra white border to the top and bottom of the image. If you make a new image that is 3 times the height it is currently with the logo in the middle then the white border area will get cropped away for the thumbnails and the logo will be left intact.

    Thanks – Ben
