What controls order of testimonials on homepage?

    Hello, I can’t tell what is controlling the order of the testimonials on the homepage and on the testimonials page.

    (I understand how to control the order using the short code to embed testimonials on specific pages).

    I have my homepage set up to display 4 testimonials, but I can’t tell why the ones that are being displayed are being displayed.

    Is there a way to control which 4 appear on the homepage?

    I assigned an “ORDER” to each testimonial, but I can’t tell if that is working or doing anything.

    Is it be date? by alpha based on name? random?

    Hello,

    By default, the theme display the most recent testimonials. The order might be different depending on the testimonial content. The theme uses a javascript function that makes sure there are no gaps in the testimonial grid.
