Using the circles as a homepage.
Hi. I love the look of this theme and really want to use it for my website.
I’m completely new to wordpress and I thought this whole thing would be easy but it seems I am struggling. Is it possible to use the circles layout as a static homepage and then each circle be a link to another static page as opposed to a blog? ie. one circle links to ‘about us’ and another circle links to ‘yoga retreats’ or ‘blog posts’ etc.?
Sorry if i’m sounding daft.
Any advice greatly appreciated on this.
The blog I need help with is putusretreats.com.

Unfortunately this isn’t possible. The circles are designed to be used for blog posts only.
You could remove the date-related data from the permalink, hide the dates displayed on the site, and blog posts would be pretty much indistinguishable from static pages. But that might be a bit overbearing if you plan on having a separate blog too.
It would be possible (although not at this time) to have the big featured circles go to static pages. Would that help? The smaller circles would still need to be blog posts though.
Thanks so much for the quick reply. Ok that makes sense now – I thought I was missing something as seeing the theme demo in the wordpress website looked amazing. I have 8 or 9 different pages that I had wanted to correlate to different circles so it seems that would be a tad too many. If I ever do a blog properly, i’ll be using it for sure.
Thanks again for the quick reply,
You’re very welcome!
