Universal Post/Page Width

    1. I need a little help figuring out how to change the universal width of all posts and pages. I tried looking for the proper CSS code but none seemed to work right.

    2. Also, is there any way to turn off the “About Author, See all posts by Author” at the bottom of each post? I only have one author on my site so this makes no sense to have for me.

    3. I bought the premium version but can’t seem to change the Menu font / size. The only options to change are heading and body, neither of which are changing the top menu. Is that possible to change using css?

    Site is reidexplores.com

    Thanks for your help!!!

    The blog I need help with is reidexplores.com.

    Hi Reid,

    1. I see you were adding custom CSS to change the width of the containers, try using this instead, the width can be set to whatever you want:

    .single #container,
    .page #container,
    .error404 #container {
    max-width: 900px;
    }

    2. The About Author information shouldn’t show up if there are not multiple authors posting on the blog, but if you need another method to get rid of it you can do so with CSS, like this:

    .author-info {
    display: none;
    }

    3. So I see an issue on our side that I want to get our dev team to fix, so for now don’t worry about the menu font thing right now. I’ll get the dev team to fix it and when the fix is pushed it will automatically work. (magic!)

    Hope that helps, if you have any other question shoot me a message!

    Thanks,
    Caleb

    Great! thank you very much for your fixes, and I will look out for the ability to change menu font!

    One other quick question – is there a simple way to change the secondary highlight color? This isn’t a huge deal – but just wanted to see if it was an easy fix. All my highlights are the color that I chose (blue) but when I click on a category archive, the highlight of the Title ‘Category Archive’ box, is still the demo green, as can be seen here: http://reidexplores.com/category/backpacks/mountain/

    thanks again, really appreciate the help!

    and one more!

    Can I make a clickable header image? I’ve hid the header text, since I’d like to design my own – however I’d still like to be able to click on the header to go ‘home’.

    I tried a few css codes but I think they were for other themes and didn’t seem to work right..

    thank you!

    Hi Reid,

    Making the entire header image clickable is not possible through CSS, it would have to be built that way in the markup.
