Unable to edit Sidebar Widget
Unable to edit Sidebar Widget – I keep getting this message:
“ Your theme has 3 widget areas, but this particular page doesn’t display them.,” even when the page I am on clearly has widgets on the sidebar. This seems to be an intermittent problem, as it happened yesterday, but was okay this morning. I have tried clearing cache, but that didn’t help.

I managed to get the Image Slider and Featured Categories and Posts working. Just have to sort out this widget issue, and then see about modifying some of the text sizes on the home page. Thanks for the great theme!

I think I found a way around the issue:
I can see and edit the sidebar if I change the Homepage to Static. Of course, the image slider doesn’t work then, but it seems to work after I edit the Sidebar widgets, then switch it back to “Your Latest Posts.”
I will be back if I can’t sort out my font sizes – it looks cluttered now.

Hi there – thanks for the message and sorry for the problems.
Glad you worked out what was going on. Seems a bit strange but I have found WordPress gets a bit confused with what sidebars are available at times and so shows the wrong thing. I don’t know of a way around this but to tweak things till it works, but it sounds like you found the right combination.
Happy to help tweak font sizes with some custom css if you wish – however keep in mind that (I think) custom css needs a paid for plan so you may need to upgrade to be able to make any changes.
Thanks – BenbinarymoonTheme Author
Just realised you used custom css in the other ticket. I guess you can use it in the free plan now then :)
