Unable to change header text color

Despite the fact that this option is present from both the header workspace and from the customize panel, I am unable to change the color of the header text in the Scrollider Express premium theme. This should not require the custom design upgrade because the functionality clearly is already present in the theme interface. It allows me to change the color from both panels, however, the change never appears on the blog itself. This is the second appearance option that I believed would be available when I purchased the theme but is not working. I am very disappointed that I can’t make these simple adjustments.

The blog I need help with is jeremypodolski.com.

Just to clarify and update, I can change the “homepage header text color” but not the “header text color” from the Customize panel.

    Hi Jeremy,

Thank you for your question. I’d be happy to help.

I’m double checking on this as well.

You could change this with the CSS upgrade but I believe it should work with the built in option as well from the customize panel.

Hope to have updates for you as soon as possible.

    Thank you,

    Hi Scott,
I appreciate you checking into this. I understand that the CSS upgrade would allow for additional customization, but much of the reason why I chose this premium theme was the features that I understood it to have built in, such as this.
I look forward to your next post.

Any updates on this at this time (within base theme without upgrade)?

Thanks to the Scrollider Express team! This feature now functions properly.
