Truncated Text issue

    Is there a way to NOT have word press automatically truncate text? I have a post that only needs a little more text and I would like it to show fully. There is a lot of real estate on my site for more text! Some directions I have found seem to use older versions of word press and the menu is rather different, so hopefully someone can respond that is familiar with the current menu for this template.
