Hi, as I can see here I can select from two blogs I need help with.. here is already where my problem starts. I don’t know why I have two blogs and wouldn’t know which one to select now…

My correct website domain which I need/want to use for my business is
yvonne-wendelin.com and I don’t know what or why I have the other one: Yvonnewendelin.wordpress.com

My website yvonne-wendelin.com I have filled with content via WordPress as well and I have used the theme natural LITE for it – which I wasn’t aware of – until now. however I’ve bought the natural premium theme earlier on.
What I don’t understand is that it seems like the premium theme only works with the domain yvonnewendelin.wordpress.com which I don’t want to use.

Can you help and tell me what I did wrong or what exactly happened and why I have two blogs now? I’m really confused and don’t know what to do…

To sum it up one more time – what I’d like to have now is: I want to use the domain Yvonne-wendelin.com with my paid premium theme. Do I now have to do all the designing and filling with content one more time all over again?
Or is there the possibility that I can transfer all my content from the natural lite version which is now used on the correct domain (yvonne-wendelin.com) to the premium theme?
Or how can solve this problem?!

    thanks a lot!

The blog I need help with is: yvonnewendelin.wordpress.com

    Hi YW,

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. It sounds like you have purchased the Premium Theme through WordPress.com directly, but have your other domain (yvonne-wendelin.com) pointing towards a self-hosted site using WordPress.org. You can find out more about the differences between both platforms here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/.

The Natural Lite theme is only available for self-hosted sites, so that’s what I would imagine this is the case. You have two options:

    1) You can point your domain ‘yvonne-wendelin.com’ towards WP.com so it becomes your main domain on the site which holds your Premium Theme. The instructions for doing this can be found here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/, you may also need help from the company which holds your domain.

You will then need to do a content export/import in order to get the content you created using the Lite theme to be present in the Premium Theme. It’s just a question of navigating to your WP-Admin and using Tools > Export from your self-hosted site and then do an import to your WP.com site following these steps: https://en.support.wordpress.com/import/. You’ll need to reconfigure the options and some settings after doing so, but all the content will be present.

    2) The other options is to purchase the Premium Version of the theme through Organic Themes directly and use your self-hosted site. With this option you’ll get a copy of the theme you can add to your site using the Natural Lite theme and install it here directly. You’ll also need to reset the options and settings, but you’ll be working on the same site.

There’s good reasons to do one or the other here, it really depends on whether you would like to stay on WP.com or move to a self-hosted site using WP.org.

If you have any further questions, just let me know.

    Thanks!

    Rebecca
