Title site, but not on main page…?

    Is there a way to give the site a title in such a way that it does NOT display on the main page? Our title is wrapped up in our logo on the main page and when I put the title into the design, it plants it over the main picture on our site, which I want to avoid. The problem is that, for search engine visibility and for outside links to the site, since the site has no ‘title’ in the opening code, it is very hard to optimize…

    Many thanks for any help in advance,

    You can choose to hide the site title using a bit of custom CSS; requires Custom Design upgrade.

    .site-title {
    	clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px);
    	height: 1px;
    	overflow: hidden;
    	position: absolute !important;
    	width: 1px;

    THANK YOU so much for helping me with this! Works great.

    Can the same be done for the tagline? I tried substituting “tagline” for “site-title” in the above CSS with no luck..

    You’re welcome, glad I could be of some help.

    You would need to use “.site-description” for the tagline, however, if you want to hide both, you could just use “.site-info”.
