I have just installed the Janice theme on wordpress and everything seems fine except for the title font. The title font for my blog is a totally different font than what the Janice theme has advertised. I’m wondering if something was installed incorrectly or if there is something I need to adjust to get it to the advertised font?

    Thanks

The blog I need help with is thetravelingtail.com.

    Hello @cmc1988,

Your site thetravelingtail.com, that you need help with is using the open source WordPress.org software and you need to seek help at these forums:

    https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

I know this can be confusing, but there are two types of WordPress. If you want to know more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org you can read this document:

Hope you get the help you need on the WordPress.org forums.

    Hello @cmc1988,

yes as, @mywritingmuscle pointed (thank you!) this forum is for WordPress.com users. WordPress org uses (as you) can get support from our themes through the marketplace forum where the theme was bought or through our contact support form:
    https://www.silocreativo.com/en/support-wordpress-themes/

This is basically because version of the theme are slightly different in WordPress.com and WordPress.org, and some instructions may not be valid for the other platform and viceversa.

About your question, we can say in advance that the title font is indeed a custom logo (image) made using a Handwriting Google font: https://fonts.google.com/?category=Handwriting.

After that, you can upload the logo to your WordPress following this:

    Adding your Site Logo
    1. Open My Sites → Customize and click on the Site Identity section.
    2. Click Add Logo to open the Media Manager.
    3. Upload a new image, or select one that’s already in your Media Library.
    4. Click Set as logo, and you’ll see your logo appear in the preview window.
    5. Click the Publish button at the top right of the Customizer to activate the logo on your site.

Thank you! Ricardo P. from SiloCreativo
