Thumbail photos

  Hi!

  Quick question. Can I determine which photo comes up as my thumbnail in the reader section of wordpress.com? It seems to pull a random picture from my post….!

  I checked the last several posts at https://wordpress.com/read/blog/id/82667545/ and it looks to me like the featured image in the post is the one that gets used first. If that isn’t set, I believe the Reader will pick the first image in the post provided it is large enough. You cannot pick a different image manually.

  You’re right, most of the time it grabs the featured image… but there are a few, such as the 10 tips to cure your hangover and tinder one that it grabbed the first image instead of the featured one. Not sure why it does that!
