Three Columns Again

    Hi Ellen
I too really like the Moka theme but hadn’t realised the attractive 3 column layout was only available on the front page – until I read the earlier thread on this forum.

It’s a significant limitation for me as I want a static front page and sections other than a blog. To put it briefly my choice of WordPress is as the platform for a web site that features a blog but is not just a blog. Accordingly, I find it unhelpful to have a major layout option restricted to the front page. Is there a reason I am missing why that functionality, with links to and excerpts from, user choice of content, is not available on other pages?

    Regards
    Mark

The blog I need help with is thecuriousflycaster.com.

    Hi Mark,

I’m so sorry, but Moka doesn’t offer a multi-column blog post option. It’s only a front page feature. I hope you still like the theme or you find an alternative theme here on WordPress.com that has this feature.

Please let me know, if you have any further/other questions regarding the Moka theme.

    Best, Ellen

    Hi Ellen
I understand it’s only for the front page and you must have reasons for limiting it in that way. I will see if I can find a work around but if not a reluctant change of themes is probably the next step after that.

Thanks for getting back. Appreciate it.

    Regards
    Mark

    Hi Mark,

I’m so sorry that Moka doesn’t offer the blog column feature. It’s just the theme design and it’s not easily possible to add more theme options/customization options to a theme later on.

I hope you can find the perfect solution for your website.
    Best, Ellen
