This theme does not work properly

    This theme does not work as stated and the fixes with CSS code listed in this support area do not work: for example, I am trying to widen the videos on the showcase page to fit the full screen and the code listed by the developer .single-format-video .hentry {
    width: 960px !important; }
    does not work. The videos in the single posts do not fit the full width of the screen either.

    There are other issues, but first, I would like to see if these can be resolved before investing any more time in this theme which would seem should not have been released until it was actually ready to be used.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    The code above should have read: .single-format-video .hentry {width: 960px!important;}

    Hello,

    If you look at our theme demo, everything is sized properly – please ensure your theme is updated and you are inserting oembed links to vimeo into the post body, not using iframe embeds in the text tab.

    We are using the vimeo links as suggested. Do the videos need to be a certain size when uploaded to vimeo or do vimeo settings need to be adjusted. We have uploaded two videos larger than 940px wide and one works in the showcase page and one doesn’t work. Do they all need to be 940px wide exactly? Please let us know soon as if they need to be uploaded at exactly 940px wide this is not possible on a regular basis. Many thanks.

    Hello,
    I’ve tested your video in our sandbox and it is doing the same thing so I think it is to do with the settings there. Make sure the video is setup as HD.

    Try adding this one to test (or any of the HD stff picks, for example) http://vimeo.com/67710268

    If your videos are not setup as HD, oEmbed will pull in the native size. You can force them to stretch to full-size at the loss of quality if you have access to Custom CSS by using this style:

    .featured-post .entry iframe {
    width: 100%;
    height: 535px;
    }
