There is no slider widget that I can customize in the Gigawatt theme.

    I bought the gigawatt theme, but there is no slider that shows up at all. I cannot even find the slider widget to customize.

    Hi Praven,

    The slider works with the video post format. You can follow these directions to get the slider to display.

    1. Your post must have a video link in the body
    2. You must have selected the video post format
    3. Make the post sticky so that the slider knows to feature the post.

    Let me know if you have any issues once you have taken the steps above.

    Is there any way to get an image to show up in the slider?

    The documentation on your own site (www.obox-design.com) for the Gigawatt theme seems to have a lot more options than the one here.

    It just feels like the theme is broken somehow, unless WordPress.com actually removed some theme options perhaps?

    Hi Praven,

    Thanks for the suggestion, we’ll look into adding feature images into the slider. The WP.com theme was designed specifically with videos in mind.

    The WP.org version on our own site can make use of different post types etc. that comes with a self-hosted site.
