As the title of the topic implies the link post title on the home page displays ‘post_title’ and when you click on it jumps to the post. If someone can assist that’d be appreciated…

I was able to replicate by assigning the Link post format to a post on my own set up of Standard.
I’ve reported the issue back to the team behind the theme and will let you know as soon as I hear back on a fix. In the meantime, you could consider using a different post format on that post so that your title displays correctly.
Let us know if you have any other questions, too.
Just a heads-up that this fix was made a couple of days ago. Link titles should now appear correctly. Thanks again for letting us know about the bug.
