Text position (title and excerpt) on home page

    Hi,

Ever since the “new and improved posting experience” rolled out, I have been unable to set the text position (default, left, right, center, etc.) for the title and excerpts of my posts as they would look on the home page. My current work-around is writing the post either directly through the old WP Admin or writing with the “improved posting experience” and then going in the old WP Admin and edit the text position that way.

Is it no longer possible to do this in the “improved posting experience”? Or am I missing some module?

    Kind regards,

    Nicola Isabelle

    HI Nicola,

I think this is a new feature and we are not aware of how to add those “custom features of Full Frame” to this page. I will let the WordPress Theme Team know about this so we can roll out that feature with the improved posting experience.

    Thanks,
    Chandra

Hi Nicola, themes that have modified the post editing screen to add their own functionality will require you to still use WP Admin to use those features.

    Hi Chandra and Kathryn,

Thanks for the responses. I will continue to work on my posts as before. I hope there are no intentions then to retire the WP Admin… And I hope this functionality will come to the “new and improved posting experience” in a while.

    Thanks!
