    When I add a tagline title under the site title, it looks like the bottom of the “g” in “Helping” is cut off. How can I change the height of area where the tagline is located? Also, how can I change the tagline font? The site title font is easily changed using the customization areas, but this only changes the headings and body text. Thanks!

    The blog I need help with is patientsafetybydesign.wordpress.com.

    Hello,

    I have visited your blog. It looks that you have fixed it by changing the width of of site-branding div.

    Also, how can I change the tagline font?

    Tagline is wrapped in h3 with site-description class. So, it will take the font family which will be assigned to headings. You may change the font via Custom CSS.

    Thanks

    The “g” and the “p” in the tagline is only showing correctly because I changed the font. With most fonts, those two letters are chopped off on the bottom. Hence, my question for expanding the height of cell (?) to accommodate different fonts. Forgive me in that I don’t know CSS programming so my terminology may be off.

    No Problem,
    You may adjust the line heigh of tagline in the custom css with the following code.

    .site-description {
    line-height: 1.5;
    }

    Thanks
