I am making the transfer from wordpress.com hosting to a self-hosted blog. I’ve already got things well underway, but just realized there is no way to get my premium duet theme on my self-hosted blog! Am I really out the $68 I paid for my premium theme!? Am I going to have to pay again to have Duet on my self-hosted blog?? Please tell me I don’t have to pay again! I’m going to be really sad if I lose this theme, as I cannot pay for it again right now.

You can view the active premium Duet theme at pinkpuddlelane.wordpress.com. pinkpuddlelane.com is my new self-hosted, without a customized theme.

The blog I need help with is: pinkpuddlelane.com

    Hey there,

If you’re within 30 days of your WordPress.com purchase, you can go to the Store → My Upgrades page on your admin panel, and request a refund instantly from there.

Once you do that, you can purchase Duet for self-hosted sites from our website and get going there!

Let me know if you have any questions!

Wow, that was fast! Thank you for your response. Sadly, I made the purchase on March 17, so I’m outside of the 30 day refund window. Are there any other options?

    Hey again,

Dang, I was hoping that wasn’t the case! I would recommend you send an email to info @ thethemefoundry.com and briefly explain your situation. We may be able offer a discount for your self-hosted purchase, but ultimately that is up to my boss :). Contact us and we’ll try to work something out!
