Social Media Links realignment

    I tried installing a footer filled with social media links at the bottom per each page.

    However, it only shows on the contact & about me page. A few questions:

    – how do I make my social media links appear on ALL of my pages?
    – how do I align it so that it stays in the center?
    – how do I remove the light blue background behind the social media links?

    Thank you very much!

    The blog I need help with is michaeltewasart.com.

    Hi there.

    The footer widgets will show on all pages except the front page. I’m afraid that’s the way the theme is designed and there’s no way to change that.

    However – the theme supports the social menu which will add a social navigation bar to the footer of every page (as seen in the demo). This do exactly what you want and be less work.

    You can see how to do this here:
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/social-links-menu/

    For reference you can use the following css to remove the footer widget background colour:

    .footer-widgets-container {
    background: transparent;
    }

    thanks – Ben

    Dear Ben,

    Thanks for the link & info. It really helps.

    Do you know how to decrease the height of the banner on top. Currently, it’s roughly 400 px, but I want to decrease its height as there’s too much distance between my logo & the menu bar on top.
