    What I do not get is that the link also remains in the picture. I want to place a flag and the flag language referred elsewhere.

    Just to clarify: that is a feature of the WordPress.org version of the theme. Here is the correct demo to reference: https://massivepressdemo.wordpress.com/. So if you’re adding this in yourself, then the styling might be a bit involved.

    Can you provide a link to the site in question?
