    Hello,

    I am very happy with your theme. However, the logo is still very small even using that CSS you posted in the forum:

    .masthead .branding {
    background: url(
    ) center no-repeat;
    padding-top: 92px;
    }

    When I increase the size of the picture its sides are cropped. Do you have any suggestions to make my logo bigger?

    Thank you very much. My page is abnews.co.uk

    Hi Ana – thanks for the message. What exactly are you trying to do?

    The logo you show is almost full size as you have it now.

    If you want to use a larger image you can change the padding-top value (the 92px) to make the header taller so that the image fits in.

    If I were you I would consider making a horizontal logo. If you put the glasses and newspaper beside the text, then the text can be bigger and the graphic can be larger, but it will use the same amount of space.

    Hi Ben,

    Thanks for your reply.

    I am trying to have a logo that does not appear very small. I did what you recommended (increased the padding-top size and used a larger image). However, when I do that, the site crops the sides of my logo, even if I increase a lot the padding. If you check my website you can see what I mean.

    I suppose an horizontal logo would not work as well, since the sides would be cropped.

    Maybe you have another suggestion?

    Thank you very much,

    Ana

    Ah – possibly the problem is the cropping of the header image. If you upload the image through the media uploader, then you can use that for the header image and hopefully it won’t be cropped.

    If you could set up the logo so it’s cropped so I can have a look at the problem that would be useful. If it’s a css issue then I can suggest a proper fix.

    Otherwise the uploading is the only possible issue I can think of.
