    Hello!

    First I was wondering how I can get the slide images on the home page like it shows in the example theme.

    I am also wondering if it is possible to change the text font if I put in the recipe code? I would also like to change servings, time and difficulty to norwegian

    The blog I need help with is mynths.com.

    Hi there,

    Happy to help! MMM your site looks yummy!!
    Follow the second section here on how to add your slider: https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/yumblog/support/

    Do you have the Custom Design Upgrade? This allows you to add CSS and you would be able to change fonts.

    Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you! I got the slider to work and I’m going to take a closer look at the custom design upgrade. But now I have some more questions…

    1. Where can I change the color of the site title and tagline?

    2. Is it possible to change the font size of the site title and tagline without changing the font size of any other text?

    3. When I click on any of the recipes the recipe title is very large! Where can I change this? Because it’s not the same font size as on the home page.

    I’m also wondering how I can delete the search box on the top to the right, I already have a search button :)

    Hi there,

    Changing the color and fonts is all within the Custom Design Upgrade: https://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/ take a look at that and that will help.

    Also, including within that upgrade is the ability to change CSS, which would be an answer to #3 and the search box.

    Let me know if you get that and I can provide code for the search box.
    Have a great night!

    I have another question – is it possible to just get a simple box around my recipes? With a neutral color as a filling. Or do I have to get the whole recipe box with servings, time etc?

    Hello!

    Why is it no longer possible to choose the font size – I mean it’s only large, small, medium or tiny. Before I could choose from 10 differents sizes. I did some changes by mistake, and now the font is either way to big or way to small to read… What can I do??

    I’m also wondering how I can make a recipe index? Maybe something like this http://www.veganmisjonen.com/p/arkiv_9685.html. Is there some kind of manual on how to do this, or something similar?

    Thank you :)

    Hey there,

    Did you purchase the Custom Design Upgrade: https://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design and now you are not seeing the font option in the Customizer area? On first glance, I do not see any problems with the font size on your site.

    The easiest way to make an index would be to connect certain foods to specific tags and categories. Then you can add those tags and categories to the menu so people can easily access them. This article is very helpful for creating index/archive pages of a connected tag or category.

    Let me know if that helps.

    Hello!

    No I didn’t purchase any design update, but suddenly the font sizes changes to 5 instead of 10 or something. Do I need to upgrade to go back to the previous font sizes? I think my font size is to large, but if I make it smaller no one are able to read it.

    Thank you1 But where is the article/link? :)

    Hey there,

    Whoops! Here is the link: https://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories-vs-tags/.

    Now, regarding the font size change, when did this change happen?

    Thank you!

    It happend a few days ago! I didn’t do anything, it just suddenly changed. Maybe it is a general update from wordpress.com? If it is I would like the old one back….

    The font management area was overhauled a few weeks back, when we added several dozen new free Google fonts to all users.

    If you need fine control over your font sizes, custom CSS is the best way to go.

    If you let us know specifically which elements you’re still trying to make bigger or smaller, we can help you with the custom CSS you’ll need.

    I think my font size is to large, but if I make it smaller no one are able to read it.

    If you’re referring to the text within your posts, you can make it smaller by adding this custom CSS, adjusting the size as you like:

    .entry-content {
      font-size: 15px;
    }

    1. Where can I change the color of the site title and tagline?

    2. Is it possible to change the font size of the site title and tagline without changing the font size of any other text?

    Your site doesn’t appear to be displaying a site title or tagline at the moment – they are not shown if you upload a custom header – but if it was, you could target the colour and size of the site title and tagline with this custom CSS, changing the size and colour codes as you like:

    #title a {
      color: #bb00bb;
      font-size: 80px;
    }

    #header #headimg #desc, .wf-active #header #headimg #desc {
      color: #000000;
      font-size: 30px;
    }

    Just let us know if you need further help with this.

    I’ll answer your recipe translation question next.

    The recipe shortcode strings (servings, time, difficulty, print) have not yet been translated into Norwegian, but you may do that directly here in GlotPress, if you like:

    https://translate.wordpress.com/projects/wpcom/nn/default?filters%5Bterm%5D=recipe&filters%5Buser_login%5D=&filters%5Bstatus%5D=current_or_waiting_or_fuzzy_or_untranslated&filters%5Bpriority%5D%5B%5D=1&filters%5Bpriority%5D%5B%5D=0&filters%5Bpriority%5D%5B%5D=-1&filters%5Bpriority%5D%5B%5D=-2&filters%5Bview%5D=&filter=Filter&sort%5Bby%5D=priority&sort%5Bhow%5D=desc

    Let us know once it’s done and I’ll see about having it validated (approved) and made live so you can see them on your site when you use the shortcode.

    Thank you! I filled in the norwegian words now, do I have to do something else? :-)

    Thanks for that! We’ll contact the Norwegian validator and ask them to have a look, and keep you posted here.

    Another question. I would like a picture over “about me” where I can use the whole picture and not just a small square. I would also like to have the “about me” text below the picture. How do I do this? I guess I shouldn’t use gravatar for this?
