Slider feature not loading from Facebook link

    Hi there, I’ve shared my blog on social media for the first time today. The Instagram link works fine, but the Facebook link creates a weird wavy line where the slider images should be (looks like something is loading.) Any advice would be great! Don’t want my viewers to think that’s what my site looks like!

    Hi,

    The “wavy line” is the slider images being loaded.

    But not sure why that would appear when sharing on Facebook. Facebook uses the og:image when a link is shared and if no og:image supplied it takes some other image shown on the page ( finds the one that best fits the dimensions needed ).

    But you do have an og:image set and it’s https://thehonestpeach.files.wordpress.com/2018/04/cropped-fruit-3335938_960_7201.jpg?w=200

    So, I’m not quite sure I understood what exactly is the issue. Can you please make a screenshot and send it over, will help me understand what’s going on.

    Sorry not sure how to send you a picture via this forum??

    When users click the link in FB and are taken to my website, the wavy line occurs, but the images never load on the slider. The wavy line is there the whole time. This is only an issue when done on the mobile site, from a computer its fine

    Hi,

    You can upload images to https://imgur.com/ and then just send over the image URL.

    But it’s ok, no need for a screenshot, I understand what you meant now.

    But I’m not getting the issue on my phone. Are you using an iPhone?
