Size of 1st featured page

  Hello, for some reason the first of the 3 featured pages on my homepage is longer than the other 2. I do not know why this would be or I would change it?

  Hi Pentony, you can control the length of the excerpt used in your homepage Featured Pages by adding/editing the text located in the “Excerpt” field, under the “More Options” tab within your page editor.

  Yes I see, thank you. Instead, you can move the “Read More” tag up or down, you may need to play around a bit with the Read More position to make it even with the others. Within the page editor, delete the existing Read More tag, then select the “Read More” icon in the toolbar and place it where you’d like it, see following screenshot to see what the Read More icon looks like: https://cloudup.com/cW2QjEyQu1A

  Hi emily i added a read more tag like so <!–more Read More –> and now its the same size but has no Read More button so the same outcome as if i use the excerpt function. I had to use HTML as I cannot see the read more tag in the new Blocks layout in wordpress. Is there something else I need to do so as the same Read More button appears on the home page? Thanks!

  Hi there, the “More” block can be found under Layout Elements in the Gutenberg editor.

  If this doesn’t work, can you please give a link to the site where I can see an example of where this HTML has been added with the “Read More”? Thanks..
