Shrink margins on featured panel

  Hello! Is there a way to shrink up the featured panel a bit to shed some of the margins and hug the content a bit more?

  I have the CSS upgrade, if that is helpful.

  Update: so it seems that the feature rotator was expanding vertically (with a lot of extra white space at the bottom) randomly when I jumped back to the front page of the blog I’m working on in the midst of editing it. But it seems to be back to size again…any particular reason this might be happening? Thanks x 1,000.000.
