I love the look of the Healthy Living’s front page but am having difficulty setting it up. I’ve followed previous threads questions yet I’m still having trouble understanding how to do it via your support.
I can’t seem to get that one main photo and two child pages underneath – can these child pages be the latest posts?
Thank you Ana
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
here is the theme setup page where you can find all about setting up the front page to look like in the demo: https://wordpress.com/theme/healthy-living/setup – part “Using Custom Front Page Template”
1. Create or edit a page, and assign it to the Front Page template from the Page Options module.
2. Add an introduction to your site. For best results, we’d recommend a couple of paragraphs.
3. The image behind this text is added as a featured image of the page. Learn more about adding featured images.
What you are probably missing is this: Go to Customizer → Static Front Page and set “Front page display” to “A static page”. Learn more about setting up a front page here
Hope this helps.
All the best,
