Hi Sonia, could you explain a little more what you’re trying to do and where the problem lies exactly?

This site is a self-hosted site, not hosted here on WordPress.com: http://littlesonia.com/

This site is not a WordPress site at all: http://hellocoton.com/

On which WordPress.com site running Full Frame are you having trouble with the RSS feed – could you please provide the link?

    Hello kathrynwp,

Well I must have gotten lost in the process. My blog was first a wordpress.org them. Then I self-hosted it and bought a theme. I’m not sure how I’m still related to wordpress.org and wordpress.com but some of my widgets still seem to be related to wordpress. com and I think my admin page is at wordpress. org.

Well anyway, what I was trying to do was register my blog on hellocoton.fr which is a social network based on blog content for women.

I’ve opened an account and registered my rss but only the last twelve articles seem to show up but not the previous ones. I have changed something in my wordpress.org settings so as to have the last 200 articles show up but it still isn’t the case. The updates I do to my articles don’t show up on hellocoton.fr either and basically even the new articles take up to ten hours to show up?

I’ve contacted the hellocoton team but they seem to think it is a problem with my blog.

Well, I’m not sure this is the right place to post my questions. But thank you anyway for your concern.

    Sonia

Thanks for explaining your situation a little bit more.

I think part of the confusion is that your DNS is actually pointing to both WordPress.com and a self-hosted host, simultaneously:

    Name Server: NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
    Name Server: NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
    Name Server: NS100.ABSTRACTDNS.COM
    Name Server: NS101.ABSTRACTDNS.COM

This means that half the time someone visits your site, they’ll see your WordPress.com and the other 50%, they’ll see your self-hosted site.

To fix this, you should log into your domain registrar’s control panel and remove either the WordPress.com or Abstractdns.com name servers, depending which site you want to keep, the self-hosted one or the WordPress.com one.

I’m personally seeing your self-hosted site at the moment, and I’m reading your site’s feed just fine here:

    http://littlesonia.com/feed/

Once you remove the WordPress.com name servers and give it the DNS records some time to propagate – if you want to keep your site self-hosted – if you need further troubleshooting help, I’d suggest posting in the general troubleshooting forum over at WordPress.org, since these forums are for folks hosted on WordPress.com.

RSS feeds are a core WordPress feature not specific to any one theme, so I’d probably head to the main troubleshooting forum here for help:

    https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting

You’ll need a free WordPress.org account to post – if you don’t already have one, you can register here:

Looks like it worked. I looked up your domain and now only the Abstractdns.com name servers are there.

    Good luck!
