Restore the Homepage to default settings

    Hi,

A team member who was championing our blog was trying to make modifications to the “Homepage” via the Theme Customizer, and somehow attributed all of the Homepage customizations to an “About” page that was permalinked to “https://thewcneighborhoodproject.wordpress.com/home”. In my attempts to clean things up, I removed the About (/home) page because it was behaving too much in the order of Homepage. Now, when I try to Customize anything, no changes are apparent on our homepage (https://thewcneighborhoodproject.wordpress.com/).

I even brought back the sample data in hopes that Recent Posts or Featured Content would appear, and it did not. Our Homepage for the most part is blank.

Essentially, we would like https://thewcneighborhoodproject.wordpress.com/ to be our “Homepage”, with all the bells and whistles of the theme, once again. How can I go about this?

The blog I need help with is: thewcneighborhoodproject.wordpress.com

I may have just answered my own question by reading the “Info” page provided by our Theme Author!

    Thank you!

So, I think my teammate saw an existing “Home” page and turned it into the “About” page.

I was able to create a new home page by creating a new page and calling it “Home”. It now features the content I was hoping it would!

I am sorry for not reading the instructions first!

No problem at all. Glad you were able to figure it out.
