Responsive header image

    In order to have the header adjust based on the device used, what do we need to do in the customize settings? Do we need to upload different header sizes? Or, should we expect the theme itself resize the image? After uploading a header, and then using the preview options, it doesn’t resize the header, but rather displays only a portion of it. What am I missing?

    Header image will display as background image under the Logo portion.

    The answers you provided is how I understand and expect it to work. However, I’m not experiencing that result. Any thoughts on what I need to do differently? A bit more detail is below.

    I have chosen to NOT use a separate logo image (so “no logo” is selected). I am also using the “Box” layout option, in case that matters. We’ve guessed at the header width because I can’t find suggested width that works with that layout and it’s not resizing.

    In case it matters, I’m also experiencing issues with displaying in IE 11. When using Mozilla, things look like they do in the customize UI in wordpress, as expected. However, in IE11, the main navigation colors aren’t correct, the side navigation appears at the bottom, the box view doesn’t apply, the read more buttons are really close to the next posts’ title, etc.

    I’m testing on both an iPhone and the preview option within the customize UI on wordpress.

    Hello,

    Antenna uses header image as a background in the header of Antenna. Header image will not adjust itself on different screens.

    You may upload your logo via Customize > Theme Options > Logo and it will be responsive automatically.

    We have tested our themes on all modern browsers. I will re-check it on IE 11 related to above mentioned points.
