Removing middle content blocks

For the design of my site, I use the news and tab features on the homepage, but not the middle content blocks. In the past, just setting the middle content block left/center/right options in the customize menu to the default “–Select–” option caused the middle content blocks to disappear entirely, which is what I want. Just yesterday, however, the middle content blocks suddenly appeared on my site. I still have the “–Select–” option set, but the three middle content blocks appear with “Home” titles and “Learn more” buttons, with nothing else. I can’t figure out how to get rid of them again, since I’m not aware of having done anything to bring them up.

I have two sites using Organization: vocations.opeast.org and opeast.org. The problem has not appeared in vocations.opeast.org, where the middle content blocks remain appropriately hidden; the CSS formatting for both pages is largely identical, so I’m not sure why it’s working on one site but not the other.

I’d appreciate any help you can give.

The blog I need help with is: opeast.org

    Hi Black,

Can you provide a login so I can take a look? The theme hasn’t been updated that I am aware of. You can use jeremy at organicthemes dot com for the e-mail address.

    Thanks!
