    Is it possible to remove the excerpt on the Carousel for the home page?
    I would like for the entire featured photo to be displayed without the faded box and Info on the side.

    The blog I need help with is expedition50.com.

    Hi expedition50,

    You can hide the carousel info with the following CSS:

    .slick-carousel .slick-track .item .slider-caption {
        display: none !important;
    }

    To learn more about adding CSS to your theme, please see here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/editing-css/. Please also note that you will need WordPress Premium (https://wordpress.com/pricing/).

    Thanks!

    It works great! I realized, however, that when the carousel info is hidden there is no way to follow the picture to its associated content.
    Is it possible to link the pictures on the carousel so that clicking on them will direct the user to the web page?
    Thanks!

    We would need to push an update to the theme for the carousel images to link. As long as this doesn’t negatively impact other Demand users (since the update will affect everyone using Demand) I don’t think it will be a problem, but I’ll need to discuss with our other dev.

    I’ll follow up with an update when I have one.

    Thanks!

    Hello!

    My apologies for the delay on this, but I’ve committed a fix for this that will restore the link to the slider images, allowing you to remove the meta info. Unless there is an issue with that update, it should go through within the next day or so.

    Thanks!
