I read that one needs the CSS upgrade to remove the author?
If this is the case that’s absurd.
    How can this be?

There must be a way to hide it, surely?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Well, the code I found in this forum didn’t remove it.
Can someone please post it here, thanks.

    Hi there!

You cannot, unfortunately, remove Traction’s post byline without the Custom Design upgrade. I suspect most themes require CSS modifications to remove references to the post author.

    Removing the post author:

Using a tool such as Firebug, you’ll want to find the specific CSS selector for your post author:

    div.author

Then, to hide this element, apply the display: none CSS property.

    I hope this helps :)
