  Hi,

  How do I remove Search, Archives and Meta from my sidebar? I just can’t find a way to stop them appearing. I’ve tried dragging those widgets into the list of inactive widgets but they still show up.

  Hi Steve,

  Those are fallback widgets that show when no widgets are assigned. There was a time that was a required or highly suggested feature. But, if you have the Custom Design upgrade, I can give you some CSS to hide those specific widgets.

  Thanks. The site will eventually be on my own hosting, so we can look at removing them then.
