Remove Primary Menu Completely

    Hello! I am using sidebar widgets instead of the traditional primary menu on the left. I created a blank menu and made it my primary menu so it could look empty. However – this leaves a space/line where the menu should be.

    Is there a CSS code I could use to hide the menu completely (and not leave a space or line?)

    Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hi there – thanks for the message.

    Which space & line do you mean? The centered one? If so then the following css will hide the centered border:

    .masthead .branding:after {
        display: none;
    }

    The following hides the empty menu but that doesn’t change the layout of the page which is why I think you might mean the grey line.

    .masthead nav.menu {
        display: none;
    }

    Hopefully that solves it but if not let me know and I’ll try again! :)

    Thanks – Ben
